The Beef Shorthorn Cattle Society   Pricing, Refunds, Cancellations and Exchange Policy

Pricing of goods and services

The Societies prices are as displayed in UK Sterling on the members services page and in the online shop. The Society reserves the right to change its prices for goods and services and offer discounts in the online shop from time to time. Payment for goods and services must be made to the Society in UK Sterling. Any change in pricing in the online shop will be displayed on the Societies website.

Refunds

The Societies refund policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since you received your item, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange. Several types of goods are exempt from being returned: perishable goods such as books as well as Gift cards, Personal care items, Water Bottles, Mugs.

Plain and Logo Products

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return the items to the Societies Office as noted below within 30 days for a refund of the cost of the items, this excludes the carriage cost. The purchaser is responsible for postage return costs, and we recommend you use a service with a proof of postage. Proof of postage is not proof of receipt.

The items must be returned in a saleable condition and must not have been used or worn. You should include the original packaging with bags, hang tags in place and any additional packing materials that came with them. We reserve the right to reject a refund request if these conditions are not met.

Embroidery Writing and Printed Products

You can return decorated items that are faulty, damaged or were incorrectly supplied. Once the items have been embroidered or printed it is not possible to cancel the order whether they have been despatched or not. The Consumer Contracts Regulations exclude “personalised goods or goods made to a consumer’s specification” and the decorated items we supply fall into this category.

General Advice and Information

If you decide to cancel or change your order, we may have already incurred costs. This can be for artwork creation, administration or charges made by our suppliers and consequently there may be a restocking charge deducted from any refund.

If there are any issues with your order, we would like to hear from you straightaway and request that you email the Breed Co-ordinator at Ellie@beefshorthorn.org

Please provide as much information as you can when completing a return request form, this will help us to complete your returns request as quickly as possible. To complete your return, we require proof of purchase.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If applicable, then your refund will be processed in sterling currency and paid to your bank account.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange the item, send us an email at Ellie@beefshorthorn.org and return the items to:
